Special Shaped Bricks

You might be considering the use of Special Shapes. Carlton Brick can give you plenty of assistance ranging from the right type of Special for your project, to prices, and availabilities and lead-times.

Many of the standard Specials are kept in stock, in the plain colours of Red, Buff, and Brown. Normally, the more elaborately coloured bricks would require to be made especially for the project, either fired individually in the kiln or cut-and-manufactured from the very batch of bricks to be sent to your project. The project is thus guaranteed a flawless colour match.

Standard Specials include Cill bricks, Arch bricks, Cants, Plinths and Stop-ends.

The price of Specials tends to vary depending on the brick type, the quantity required, and, especially, the amount of time available to prepare and make the consignment. The Sales Managers are always pleased to discuss individual requirements.

Carlton Brick has on occasion manufactured highly individual Specials, reminiscent of bricks made by the Victorians but which are, apparently, never available nowadays. The manufacturing team always enjoy working on individual consignments, so please ask if we can make it, however unusual your required Special may seem!
