New for Spring 2007: The Ridings Range

Carlton Brick is pleased to introduce its range of pre-aged facing bricks; the 65mm Ridings Weathered Blend and the 65mm Ridings Gold Antique.

Not only do the Ridings Bricks look superb in new-build developments, these bricks are also tailor-made for blending into reclaimed brickwork, as well as into rural and agricultural masonry.

During its manufacturing process, each brick undergoes a process of colouration, scraping, scuffing and distressing. The face of the brick is uneven, whilst its edges can be uneven and flaked. The colour shades are random and subtle.

These attributes give each brick an intended uniqueness and individuality which, when walled up into an area of finished brickwork, can become reminiscent of the less refined masonry of 100 years ago.

Carlton Brick products are machine made. However these bricks are similar to those that are thrown, moulded, stacked and sorted by hand, and are often compared to re-claim and salvage bricks.
