The Grimethorpe Colliery Band

The brass band at Grimethorpe is world famous and Carlton Brick is delighted to announce its new sponsorship of the band for 2008. The band's name has always been familiar, but its reputation boomed as the film "Brassed Off", filmed in Grimethorpe, met with such critical acclaim. The band enjoys continued success, winning the National Championships again in 2007.
